In Jesus’ lifetime, the average life expectancy was somewhere in the mid 30s. At the start of the twentieth century, life expectancy stood at 47.9 years. However, with the introduction of antibiotics, infectious diseases declined and people began living to an average of 77 years of age. We’re living twice as long as the people of the Old Testament. Now, the leading cause of death is chronic diseases some of which are brought on by risky lifestyles, unhealthy habits and a poor diet. Read More...
